With so many people in Florida at this time of year, it’s fun to look back at some of the traditional outdoor photos almost everyone takes. These cover the 1930s to the 1950s and were produced on glass lantern slides (See a previous post on lantern slides, here)
The colours and composition of many of these images are almost like paintings. It’s partly the age of the slides and the process used to develop them.
