Abba & the BOBO Phone

The BOBO telephone was made famous by the ABBA music group in the 1970s, and is also in the Museum of Modern Art (MOMA) in New York. Two of the design heavy Italian phones by Sergio Todeschini went for a mere $450 at a recent U.S. auction.

The phones came into play because of the name of ABBA’s first studio album, Ring Ring, in 1973.
