Gondoliers in Venice are so romanticized, it’s easy to forget they are working people, who have to do mundane things like clean the gondolas, fix their phones, and find places to wait for passengers.

Happy memories of visiting Venice, although we didn’t go in a gondola as they were so expensive – easier to walk! Nice photos.
